Last month, Shawn Beard, the owner of Integrity Fencing, took his team not only out of the office and out of the field, but off the ground. As part of a team building employee fun day, the group went skydiving together. Shawn and seven of his crew took to the skies above Fort Morgan, CO and checked off a bucket list item.
When asked why go skydiving for team building, Shawn said, “I’m an adrenaline junkie. And I encouraged others: if it’s your giant, and you feel you need to face it and slay it, we can do it together.” He stated that it took some encouraging with some of the team members, but afterwards, everyone was so happy and excited that they faced their fears and took the leap of faith. “It’s about increasing your capacity and learning to live at a different level for a moment,” said Shawn. “And as for the team building, it felt like: no matter what we face, together, we can tackle anything.”
