On a recent skydiving adventure with team members, Shawn Beard took the opportunity to raise money for a cause important to him. When he gathered members of his staff to join him skydiving, he also asked for sponsors for his jump, with the funds going directly towards the “Run 4 Hope” campaign, part of United We Can, a division of Shawn’s church Victory Outreach North. All of these campaigns and fundraisers go towards World Missions. The churches, training centers, and recovery homes of World Missions offer support for people struggling with addiction. Additionally, after people graduate from their programs, World Missions aides them in the next steps of their life and finding their way.
In addition to skydiving, Shawn is raising funds by participating in the Victory Outreach Annual Run 4 Hope on Saturday, October 28, 2023. The run will raise funds for at-risk inner city youth locally and around the globe. Shawn’s fundraising goal is $10,000 this year.
